Gear Up for MVCAC Legislative Day & Spring Committee Meetings!
The Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California (MVCAC) is excited to announce more details for its annual Legislative Day and Spring Committee Meetings, taking place on February 21st and 22nd in Sacramento.
Legislative Day (Feb 21): This year, our Legislative Day will be held at the “swing space” between 10th and 11th Street. Just like last year, agencies will have the opportunity to schedule their own meetings with legislators or staff. Direct engagement with legislators is invaluable, allowing them to hear directly from constituents like you. It’s a chance to voice your concerns, share insights, and build lasting relationships with your representatives.
Schedule Your Meetings: To make the most of this opportunity, start scheduling your legislative meetings now using the Leg Day Site. Be proactive in securing time with your legislators to ensure your voice is heard on issues that matter to you and the communities you serve.

Let Your Voice Be Heard: MVCAC’s Legislative Day is a powerful platform for vector control professionals to advocate for issues impacting public health and vector control efforts. Your participation is crucial in making a positive impact on legislation and policies that affect our communities.
Don’t miss this chance to actively contribute to the legislative process and strengthen the relationships between vector control districts and legislators.
See you in Sacramento!
